Do you make display cakes?
We can make display cakes perfect for bridal events, outdoor weddings or style shoots for magazines and blogs.
Can I make any changes to my wedding cake once I place the order?
Yes, however, these changes may affect the final price of the cake. If you wish to make any changes, they must be made no later than two weeks before the wedding.
When should I order my cake?
We appreciate as much notice as possible, especially for wedding cakes. Most couples order 6 to 9 months in advance. For smaller events, please order a minimum of one week in advance. If you have a short notice order, let us know and we’ll try to make the cake for you!
Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase a cake?
No, all our cakes are made to order. Our office is open by appointment only and we do not hold retail hours or have cakes pre-made available for sale.
What if I live outside El Paso?
If you can't come in for an appointment, your cake order can be done completely by e-mail or phone. Please email us any pictures or ideas that you may have so we can send you a proposal. This proposal can be signed and paid online.
How do I schedule a consultation?
We can schedule a consultation once you have the location and date of your wedding. Please go to calendly.com/chantilly to schedule it.
What do I need to bring to the consultation?
For the consultation, we suggest that you bring pictures of your décor, invitations, Pinterest boards or color swatches. It is helpful to have made venue and décor decisions before meeting with us so we incorporate all the details into the cake design. After we go over your requests, we will then be able to provide a quote.
Why should I set up a consultation?
We encourage you to email us to book an appointment for a cake consultation and tasting so you can get to know us and see what we can do for your event. The consultation is complimentary for orders over 100 servings. You will have the opportunity to view the catalog, sample the cake, frostings, and fillings and discuss your ideas with us.
Can I have different flavors for my cake?
Flavors for the filling and cake can be mixed and matched however you like.
Do you rent the cake stand?
You can rent any cake stand for free when you order your cake from us. However, we do require a deposit for any plateau or cake stand. When the cake stand is returned, clean and undamaged, the deposit will be completely refunded.
How much is delivery and set-up?
Delivery charges are based on mileage with a $50 minimum in El Paso, TX. We also deliver to Las Cruces, Ruidoso, Van Horn, Marfa, and Juarez.
When is the last payment due?
Payment of the remaining balance, if any, is due 1 month prior to the event. If payment is not received at this time, we reserve the right to cancel the order. For smaller cakes, the balance is due at pick up time.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks or credit cards.
How much is required to place an order?
An initial 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders.
How much do you charge for a cake?
The cost varies depending on the frosting, design, flavor and the type of decorations you would like on the cake. Butter cream cakes start at $3.00 per serving. Fondant covered cakes start at $3.50.
