Halloween is one of America’s favorite holiday and personally, mine too. I love how over the years it has become less about actual witches and ghosts and more about costumes and candy. For this reason, I am more than excited to share with you 6 Halloween cupcake ideas for your not-so-scary party.
1. Beware of FRANKENSTEIN!
This cupcake can be made of whatever flavor you prefer. For the face, the hair and the bolts I recommend that you use fondant for a pretty and better appearance. Using butter cream frosting makes it easier for the eyes.
I recommend to make this a chocolate cupcake because you will use white fondant for the skull and the spider web. If you wish you can add another cupcake with a crypt décor made of fondant as well.
3. Go on, take a BAT.
To give the bat an enhanced style be sure to use fondant and a colored butter cream frosting that can hold the bat in its place.
4. The MUMMY.
This mummy cupcake is very easy to make. All you need is white fondant cut into small strips and place them across the cupcake after placing two small fondant circles for the eyes.
5. Spooky SPIDER.
This chocolate cupcake is easily done by using a dark colored frosting and covering it with chocolate sprinkles. You will also need a stand in the shape of spider legs which you can find at stores like Hobby Lobby or Michael’s
6. Boo-tiful GHOST.
Pick your favorite cupcake flavor and once it’s baked use butter cream frosting to build a ghost.
